Join us for a chat with master craftsman, Geoffrey Hannah. Geoff has honed his skills after many hours with his hands on the tools. He started his trade at Lismore-based woodworking company, Brown and Jolly in 1963 before going out on his own. A tremendous shift in his career came in the mid-80s, when Hannah ceased working from commission. He chose to work instead on his own highly detailed and complex works that inspire nothing less than awe. Coupling this change, Geoff began to focus his commitment to teaching and passing on his infectious love of working in wood from his home workshop in Lismore.
Why not shout Dad to morning tea or lunch at Palate at the Gallery before or after the talk?
