An exhibition and installation by local artist, Anna Dorrington.
“This work deals with the memory of hopes and dreams of my formative years growing up in Germany. This time coincided with the late 60s. It was confusing for me and my friends. What was the norm before was questioned and young girls like me had a hard time choosing the right way. I am telling a story that is assembled either in print or in boxed assemblages; found objects from the same era are meant to help the viewer find access to their own story. Innocence found and lost, silly dreams and emotions, and all is possible.”
