Tropical Fruits Inc is the primary Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Intersex social club on the North Coast. It hosts a number of gatherings throughout the year culminating with its New Year’s Eve party which draws people from across the globe. Tropical Fruits has played a crucial part in making Lismore the GLBTI capital of regional Australia. This exhibition will examine the role Tropical Fruits has played in the community through documentation, costuming and ephemeral material.
