Lauren Brincatâs practice brings together sculpture, installation, performance and sound through fabric, movement and collaboration. Her work responds to people and place through participation, collective experience, and poetic gestures in the everyday. Often ephemeral, Brincat responds with depth and intuition to create works that fold the community into the ultimate form.
In sequence is Brincatâs first major solo exhibition in the Northern Rivers. Featuring a new site-responsive commission with selected works that resonate with its ideas and material concerns, the exhibition will invite audiences to engage with the Gallery in new and unique ways.
