The Materiality of Connection: Walking, Place, Law
Walking as a flexible practice can be used across disciplines: in visual art, as part of a writing practice, or as a way of engaging with place - public and private space – that has legal and political implications.
Drawing from the exhibition, From Here to There: Australian Art and Walking, this In Conversation - with Mirror Sydney author Vanessa Berry, and Associate Professor John Page from the School of Law and Justice at SCU - explores the diverse ways in which walking engages and enriches our many relationships with place, people, environment, borders and boundaries.
