Exhibition Proposals

If you are interested in exhibiting at Lismore Regional Gallery, we are seeking proposals from early-career artists to present new work in the Jenny Dowell Gallery.

Prominently located at the Gallery entrance, the Jenny Dowell Gallery is prioritised for local early-career artists in a program of about seven exhibitions each year. With a large floor-to-ceiling window, the exhibition will be highly visible to passers-by and audiences engaging in activities in the Lismore Quadrangle.

Our program is planned years in advance and is balanced each year to reflect the diverse interests and voices of people from our region and beyond, this impacts our decisions in selecting the exhibitions we present. In the other four galleries, we showcase curated exhibitions, touring exhibitions, and a rotation of the permanent collection.

Artists receive a fee of $500 for the exhibition and are responsible for its installation and de-installation.
